EBISU^TM Series EVA Film

1、INTRODUCTION

EBISUTM S-series EVA is a new generation of encapsulating film from FIRST. With the function of low acetic acid, it is a high-end product suitable for harsh humid and hot environment, and high-standard residential application. With Kyocera’s patent technology, it can provide a fantastic long-term protection for crystalline silicon cells, and help PV modules to achieve long-term high reliability in hygrothermal environment. Besides, S-series EVA also has excellent PID resistance, high adhesion and anti-discoloration properties.

The main characteristics of EBISUTM S-series EVA film are as follows：

1) Excellent cell protection ability to achieve long-term reliable work of PV modules;

2) Better PID resistance for bifacial PV modules;

3) Excellent adhesion to glass, metal and polymer backsheet, maintaining long term adhesion;

4) Excellent durability, such as weather resistance, high-temperature and high-humidity resistance, UV light resistance;

5)  Fast cure performance in favour of shortening lamination time

2: Test condition: 85oC, 85%RH, -1500V, 192h
3: Glass / EVA/ EVA/ backsheet laminate’s △YI will be different due to the backsheet aging resistance.
